Who is your least favorite major character and why?

Graha and Zenos are likely the worst characters in any ff game to date and I would happily dance as they made their exit.

If we are taking generalities, I also am not a fan of any lala characters, mainly because I seem to have the opposite reaction to kawaii than most. I would rather burn it with fire than fawn over it. Not sure why, just always been that way. And it doesn't help that most of the lala characters are just not likable. Then we have the Au ra, there is something about their design from head to toe, both male and female, that just feels off and clunky.

*Spoilers* Zenos for obvious reasons, big one being incredibly unworthy as a final villain. Since Stormblood we fought his ass once in Ala Migho, twice in Doma thrice in The Royal palace, 4 times as a Echo hoping Shinryu, 5th in Ghmlyt 6th as a apparition in Tempest. The one fight we had with Varis is better and would’ve made a better antagonist for one being interesting and two being present since ARR.

I can’t stand his arc, Fandango or whatver is still underdeveloped and new while this asshat has been boring since 4.0

Alisaie and the other fanboi, Graha Tia. I’d add Zenos and Fandaniel but they won’t survive 6.0 ( well Zenos could do it, this guy is an unkillable cockroach, he would survive a calamity without even trying).

Definitely Zenos. He was fine for a single expansion, but all he's done since then is kill any tension and interest in the Empire. Varis had an interesting angle with Elidibus, seeing them maneuvering around each other, but NOPE! Zenos not only drives Elidibus out, he kills Varis.....mostly off-screen, so we don't even get to see it. And then he ditches the Empire....and then changes his mind, hooks up with Fannypack, and turns the Empire from arguably well-intentioned but with horrifying methods, to just "whoops, they're all brainwashed now" generic baddies. And for all of it, Zenos still has no motivation for any of it, except that he's bored.

I think that covers many of my issues with him as well. Fandaniel at least has some potential to be interesting, given that he apparently harbours some secret, and he's at least amusing to watch, but Zenos hasn't even got any of that going for him...

Zenos is narrative cancer, and I look forward to him dying forever and going away.

I also didn't think much of Hien, good or bad, my first time through, up until I hit that point in post-SB where you run into one of the people involved in making Yotsuyu's life hell and, it's been a while so I forget the exact conversation, he just kind of glosses over the fact? Asshole gets away with it, scot-free?? Don't get me wrong, Yotsuyu got what she deserved (orchestrated it herself, even), but the people are plenty guilty too, if you ask me...

I don't particularly dislike Cid but I don't find him all that interesting either. He's just sort of "there" to me. I don't really like Lyse much but since we've barely seen her recently I don't find her too troublesome.

Zenos is just boring and has massively overstayed his welcome. I just can't really muster up actual hatred for him but he's definitely almost at the bottom of the list for me. He should have stayed dead.

At the absolute bottom, though, is Graha Tia. He was annoying in the CT era but as a side character I could mostly ignore him. As Exarch, he redeemed himself somewhat and I actually thought he had a fairly solid arc with a great ending; a sacrifice of one innocent life to save the hero he so admired. Post Exarch.. just ugh. He should have stayed dead. Now he's not only worse than he was in the CT days but he's also likely to be a permanent part of your adventuring party so there's little hope we'll ever be able to get away from him. Him and Zenos might be nearly on the same level for me distaste wise, but that fact alone would put Graha over the top.

The WoL... They make us too nice most of the time. I'd enjoy my own character more in the story if I could have regular outbursts at ppl in cutscenes like during the initial DRK job quests.

Alisaie. She was so useless that in ShB they had to give her some random BS reason even exist. At least Alphie knows he's useless, she on other hand is just delusional.

He's one of the best looking male characters in the game. He also has very interesting ties to the Buduga.

Furthermore, he's unapologetic about doing what he sees as best for his people - even fully embracing moral greyness such as choosing to flood Doma castle and strongarm the Xaela into joining a fight that did not concern them in the slightest. His callousness towards Yotsuyu's plight is also refreshing since so many of the leader figures in this game love to pretend to care about all manner of issues when it benefits their cause only to completely neglect/ignore them whenever it isn't beneficial.
