What do JP players think of the Cruise Chaser mount?

Most players playing this game without a specific localisation at least read and write English. Here in Sweden it's taught from third grade.

Fellow Swede here, this is accurate.

I'd say it more of the poorer countries in Europe, but I'd imagine most people learn basic english nowadays. Or I have a hard time seeing this is not the case.
Then maybe not everyone choose to talk/type it like some germans and french cause it's easier to do it in their native tongue when game offers it already.

Another thing is the rude people talk it in parties etc when they signed up for a english language setting.

What does that have to do with anything? Netflix and every streaming service has increased pricing with exponential subscriber growth.

The same model of car my parents bought in 2001 now sells for almost 3 times the price new for the 2021 models.

Ironically, Eastern games are criticized for not having a Cash Shop, specifically EXP boosts and other pay for convenience stuff. This is largely due to the culture perspective that you should be working most hours of the day and too much leisure time is seen as being lazy and unproductive. Case in point, the lead dev for Ultimate was downright ashamed they couldn't finish and even asked to work longer hours. It's actually uncommon for a director to refuse such a request as Yoshida in.

It's why Japan gets way with horrendous overwork practices and no additional pay.

They have even more convenience for extra $$$ than other regions, and this is why S.Korean MMOs are often designed with seemingly predatory P2W models.

Players are much less likely to buy a store mount if they can obtain it by playing the game and they're much less likely to buy a store mount if it doesn't look cool.

As a NA player, I honestly would have preferred if they made it a MGP mount. Put it at 9 million MGP, and then it's something for people to work towards. I'm sure eventually, when it goes on sale and I have the extra money to throw at it, I probably will buy it...but until then, I'm not going to be buying it.

9 million?!?! I'm sure the people who have stocked up MGP wouldn't mind. "Work towards"? The Gold Saucer is so bad. I cannot believe people even actually play it unironically.
