What do JP players think of the Cruise Chaser mount?

Would you prefer to pay 20ish a month? Subs havent increased since.... Ever, that I can tell. Inflation has though, by quite a bit. We pay less now for XIV than people did for XI in 2001.

I think they have increased the price of the sub, just not in the way that some would think. With the retainer service and companion app, some players are paying around $32 a month for a sub to this game. They just did it through incentives instead of an actual price hike.

I have 2 extra, and dont use the companion app at all.

And I only have 2 extra so I can have the 3 DoL and a DoW retainer.

I've let them lapse from time to time, but I pay in 6 month lumps + legacy discount, so I only pay like... 140 a year for sub for this game (and a third of that is retainers even with just the 2). Its cheap entertainment.

I just find it particularly funny when people who complain about mount pricing and the mogstation have multiple items from it. Like, why would SE stop, you (generalization) hate it and you still buy things....

I support it and I have no mounts...

That's one way to look at it but I think most of us can agree you don't need that many extra retainers, if any with proper inventory managment.
I have max retainers personally but I'm also a nutcase that utilize the retainers for gathering me materials plus im a hoarder and love crafting.

So i'm in the €20-25 area I'd imagine. I don't really pay attention at the exact amount but in that ballpark i'd guess.

Right, players don't need these things but they love the convenience. I'm usually maxed on my retainers and run them all for ventures, so for me they are both convenient and profitable. However, not everyone wants or needs more retainers and I, too, am probably insane. lol

Cool, but Germany isn't the only country in Europe. This doesn't make what I said any less true, plenty of Europeans don't speak English.

Most players playing this game without a specific localisation at least read and write English. Here in Sweden it's taught from third grade.

It's also about comfort language, people can read and somewhat communicate in English without being able (or wanting to) properly express their disappointment in English. I personally do that a lot with Japanese games, because my vocabulary isn't always rich enough.

Generally speaking all continents will have people supporting or not.
I am from EU and not a fan of the decision itself and more baffled how the mentality has gotten to the point that if a cool mount won't go to mogstation it would go to Feast (which I understand because lots of cool mounts locked in that, rip hellhound).
But by the end, I am not going to bother or annoy people that have made the decision to purchase it, whatever reason might be. They won't remove it and that's the story

Seem they don't have much to say on it - or it isn't important enough to be kept bumped to the front pages. Versus here were there is three active (including this one) on the first page revolving around "issue."

Though, here, the flex cards and nose cutting to spite the faces here makes this thread the most entertaining on the "issue" so far.
