Basically it was "We have no means of getting production up for more CEs than we've already done due to Covid stuff, we are sorry."

As he says… "They were so focused on the Fan Fest" But again that is the point was better to announce an X day than say "hello, is now on pre-order" go to your checkout then literally error when pay.

The news is that there are none available. Whether people cancel their pre-orders or not to free up any stock, well you'll have to wait until they start debiting people.

I really hope they plan for more stock the next time they put out a CE like this for this game. Sadly, it appears that those who were unable to get one for Endwalker are currently SOL. They could have and should have handled it a lot better. Pushing the sale live as the Fanfest stream was happening was a bad move.

I think the best that can be hoped for at this point is a second run of the figure at least some time post EW release. I was thinking someone might bring this up during their media tour interview but no one did that I saw.

I doubt they willl reamin unsold judging from how many people wanted it but could't buy it including myself.

Absolutely, though it's important to bear in mind that statue/figure production especially in high volumes is not a quick process. It's not like they have thousands of them just sitting in a warehouse somewhere. A full production run would likely not be delivered to consumers for another 6 months at bare minimum from whenever they closed off taking orders for a second run.
