Why is the Cruise Chaser mount from the Mogstation?

This is the fundamental point of disagreement that a lot of the people defending the mount seem to not understand. This is the first mount they have added to the game that arguably belongs in the game, not in the store. This is an iconic boss in XIV, boss mounts are all sacred. Square Enix is testing the waters and seeing if they can get away with putting mounts in the store that belong in-game. Yes, I'm aware of Sleipnir and I don't like that mount either, but that's more of a gray area.

So I disagree, the number of mounts per year isn't going up (yet) but the overstepping is. I mean, where else can you get an 8-seater in-game? It is getting worse.

You make sleipnir cry. I always thought odins mount was iconic too but yeah. And where you can get an 8-seater in-game? In the next expansion, lol. Not that hard to understand. It's not like they can bring out a second set of mounts for the raid tiers. xD The first eden tier also had a 4 seater which was the only and first 4 seater in the entire game at that given time. But yeah. Sure. It's getting worse.

I like the 8-seater whale tho. We also got the motorcycle back then and everyone was hyped. Not that wrong to tie stuff to events like the fanfest. What's next, the preorder mount is also bad? I think it's rather good than bad that they made the fanfest mount, especially for this fanfest which was the first exclusive online fanfest, more valuable. Ofc the design of the mount is...idk...i think it's ugly.

Dunno how people can be so stingy about a bit of cash.
