Why is the Cruise Chaser mount from the Mogstation?

No. Only when they stop doing this. Either its cash shop or an insane grind or whole kinds of mounts locked behind feast/pvp. Why is the same pvp allagan orb 3-4x at pvp only? why cant one be from somewhere else? Why all of those chairs had to be only feast? If you literally can make 5-10 reskills/recolors theres no reason to lock all of em behind one (unloved by most) content. Why trashing all older mounts at the mogtome instead of adding anything new just for there? make an 500 tokken mount idc that grind, even less if theres an wide choice of what i can do.

Add as much cash mounts as you like, really. IMO we get too few stuff there. Yes, too few. Theres so much stuff I would not mind, the Manacutters the pirates during mhach used, a reskin of the Eden 1 savage mount, an fire red reskin of the heavensward firebird. A golden Kyuubi - or that fate mecha kuubi from Bozja.

Add the basic carbunlce as reward for the lv 80 summoner quest and make 3-5 recolors for the mogstation if you have to. Heck they couldve made an Golden chaser with effects and add the normal one for Anything ingame. Like kill 100 mecha on a chaser during RW... anything.

For me - and I suppose many others - its not about the mogstation or having mounts there, but how its handled...

They already told you the mog station profits goes back into the game, and makes the game better for us all. Are you saying yoshi p is lying about it? Either way, games are costly to make and maintain, and mmo prices are staying the same while it costing more and more to fund and maintain the game itself.


Heck we pay more for phone services and other stupid things, and we get far less content, and requires far less work to maintain that, than to maintain a mmo. So if keeping the price the same, and putting up with a cash shop. So be it.

Fact of the matter is, for as much money the mogstation is making and how many new subs we’ve had, we really haven’t seen a huge improvement of things this expansion. Sure we can blame covid but things were already confirmed missing before the pandemic was even a thing and the devs themselves said they were working at 95% efficiency. We aren’t really seeing a valid return of content. Hell, events have become more and more watered down this expansion.Summer event doesn’t even have a jumping puzzle lmao.

Fact of the matter is, for as much money the mogstation is making and how many new subs we’ve had, we really haven’t seen a huge improvement of things this expansion. Sure we can blame covid but things were already confirmed missing before the pandemic was even a thing and the devs themselves said they were working at 95% efficiency. We aren’t really seeing a valid return of content. Hell, events have become more and more watered down this expansion.Summer event doesn’t even have a jumping puzzle lmao.

I am going to blame covid but not for that reasons. Players have way too much free time now, and less options to go out. Like yes players always complain about the lack of content they like, but MMO players are endless in hunger for content and consume it so fast.

The simple truth is. Even in this mmos bad day, the content patches they come out with blows the water out of any other mmorpg. If they telling me that this cash shop goes back into the game. I'm going take word for it, because they are killing it with content. Even if you think the content is worse, or lower in quality. That could be lack of ideas, or just breaks needed from team.

Imo nothing that you said justifies the decision of putting this mount on Mogstation for 30 dollars and there's many reasons for it.

First of all, there's more than enough money to sustain the game and make it better. Secondly, there's no guarantee that every penny is invested in the game to make it better. I could go on, but i think i already made my point.

And btw, there's people that doesn't wanna pay 2 times the sub on a special mount because it's expansive and stupid, making it outrageous. CC mount could've be in-game on PvP, for example. Rival Wings is a thing, you know? The community tries to revive it each weekend while Square Enix puts this mount for real money (lots of money for a few people btw) on Mog. So much waste... This is the kind of thing that makes us players extremely disappointed.

But if our money is really going towards the game, we should be seeing upgrades of stuff, not seeing things like dungeons and weapons being cut. With this influx of subs, there’s really no excuse for it. We can make up excuses for it, but it’s the fact currently. Again i bring up veteran rewards. They completely dropped that and for what, a shitty excuse that they then literally solved after discontinuing it? For as much effort as they seem to put into the mogstation(and yes i know it’s a separate team but point still stands) and then seeing how much effort they put into in game things like events, its pretty sad. This easily could’ve been implemented as either a mount for the recent gold saucer event or what have you. They saw it as another way to milk money out of the playerbase. Said money might not even being going towards this game as well.

I mean they really don't need a valid reason. It is a business, and their game. Players who don't like it don't matter. They will keep playing the games, and people who want to buy it will buy it. I am at least more understanding why they do it. I mean the fact that mmos are still 13-15 dollars a month is a darn good deal

Nothing to spend mgp on
Nothing to spend achievement tokens on
Could've been something to give the blu mains something to do
Maybe give somethin' for the ultimate raiders to shoot for since the second ultimate got pushed back

Yes because it is greed to want profits. Look, as much as you all hate it. Some people love it. Who is in the right? Noone, If you don't like it. You have no power to stop it. You can not buy it, but enough people do buy it so that won't matter.



The only thing you can do is accept it, or not support this game. And we all know the addiction is so strong that you will voice how sad you are about it. Without a single understanding of how business works, and or if they are even making enough money to cover the cost. We really don't know. Heck even money does not fix the issues of servers, and just overall needing trained people to help work on the game. That times time resources, and yes money, but MONEY can't just make things happen.



Would you rather pay 25 dollars a month, or 13-15 dollars with a cash shop? I know some would say 25, but man bump that.

Coming from a design background and frequently creating character models and assets for both game and film - it is insulting knowing how little work went into that mount... litrally just "open texture node map" - "insert saturation node" - drag slider left = DONE
