Why is the Cruise Chaser mount from the Mogstation?

On another note, it makes me sad how we tear each other appart just bc some are unhappy with that and others respond with "why u mad? poor? entitled?" etc...

Its not even about adding stuff to the mogstation but the choices of what they add... stuff that was made for the Chinese marked is one thing, but literally ingame stuff... Sleipnir shouldve been in the game and a recolor in the store, but welp...


I just dont get why its so hard to do some recolors/slight reskinns and sell them...

I have never liked the store but CC should have been in-game for sure. It should have been a reward for TEA or rival wings because it would be so fitting to the theme, but they obviously saw the opportunity to cash in on this instead.
I am glad to see that there's some degree of backlash but there will still be people defending SE and it's annoying to see, companies are not your friend no matter the circumstance.
Additionally, we already pay for the game and a subscription; there shouldn't be more expenses than that but playing an MMO now is the playground for whales and SE and Blizzard won't back off to cash in on that.

Also id really buy more stuff but so much is just a huge pass.... like if you dont wanna put the normal lanner/horse/wolf into the game by mogtome or whatever you could add that on the mogstation. Also i dont mind the Scion stuff, really, thats ok. Just then make it HQ and not... Hien.... xD


Id gladly support the game just as id love to buy all the soundtracks, but they really make it hard for me...

The reason I see this as bad is because Cruise Chaser is assets from the game, made by the dev team.

A long held stance for cash shops enthusiasts is, "Stuff made for the cash shop is made by the cash shop teams, so it doesn't affect development time, and the dev team is not involved!"

Well, would you look at that. The dev team is involved. Granted, it's an old raid monster, but really, it has an 8 man rideable animation which actually has all 8 people ride it in its fight. It actually repositions them, so it already had all of the data to be a mount.

So what other really cool rideable bosses or monsters are they going to throw behind a $30 pay wall in the future? How much more content in the future is going to simultaneously be in the game while also being planned out to be in the cash shop? How much more past content is going to suddenly become available now, but only within the confines of the cash shop purchase?

I ask this as someone who has made purchases from the cash shop when I really couldn't resist having something, because I knew they would never add it in otherwise. I sought solace in that claim that the dev team wouldn't be involved in making things for the cash shop, but here we are.

It sets a bad precedent.

its pretty old so its definitely been there for years
probably even worse than cruise chaser
in a 8 man fight that requires extremes to be unlocked and is one of these most iconic summons in FF history
set the precedent years ago but people just swept that under the rug and are shocked they are doing it again.
