Is this crash a "suddenly the screen turns off and the computer reboots" thing, or do you get any pop-up crash info or BSOD with crash report info?
If its just "screen off/reboot" thing, then disable Automatic Restart in Advanced System Properties.
    1. Press Windows Key + R and type SystemPropertiesAdvanced
    2. Select Settings in the Startup and Recovery section
    3. Uncheck "Automatically restart"
    4. Click OK and close out the System Properties window, then reboot the computer

Now, if the computer crashes due to a software issue or a problem with the game or drivers, you will be able see to what has happened software wise.
If the computer however still restarts as it has been, then it is a hardware or BIOS issue

I'll give it a try when I can ... but I am pretty sure that's not an accurate determination. I mean if New World can brick a video card, apps can cause a system to reboot due to triggering something. While I realize this isn't new world but I've had this same problem with FF14 before on a completely different PC. I stopped playing around Stormblood originally because of it (at some point there was a patch around that time and it started having stability issues).

I suspect it's some application I use that ff14 conflicts with.

In the short term, I've found that if I run ff14 in full screen mode using dx11 it seems to be "stable" (not run long term testing). If I switch back to window/borderless with dx11 it reboots almost instantly.
