I don't think they will get their act together.

There has been money at stake for years and they've been trying to cover it up and ignore it the whole time. WoD was when the game really started to crumble and lost half its playerbase. Since then they simply hid their sub numbers, ignored their playerbase, pushed their WoW token and monetization tactics harder and abuse in the workplace continued. Their initial response to the court case was to blame both the state and their players, only changing their tune when it backfired, which isn't sincere at all. They have another court case on their hands now from their investors, since they hid the 2 year investigation from them to prevent losing money.

They just don't have a Yoshida in Acti-Blizzard. There's no one capable of doing a huge turn around like that. Even worse, WoW's reputation has fallen lower than even FF14 1.0.
There are many who are just migrating from WoW to other games now, but also a significant number of old WoW players who left years ago and would never touch the product ever again, revamp or not. Legion was actually their last serious chance to salvage the game and they failed to take it. The company definitely won't die, but the damage is beyond repair.
