I think one thing the developers have not fully thought through with their SB and ShB relic design is what happens when the content dies. It actually came to a head after CLL. People stopped running CLL and it became a huge bottleneck for those coming after. And that happened in the same expansion it came out in. The Twelve only know what's going to happen when no one is running it in Endwalker.

Contrast this with ARR and HW. You can go do everything for ARR and HW relics now, and only experience normal DF queues for any steps requiring group content. Alliance Raid Roulette was a big want on these forums and elsewhere for a long time because people were waiting and waiting and waiting in queue and now we can do them quickly and simply. So quickly and simply that they didn't even hesitate to add a set to mandatory MSQ. I think similar treatment toward at least these instances (and anything they could possibly do to help with Eureka) would go a long way toward effective future-proofing.
