Hmm. Aichmophobia (spikes / sharp points) comes to mind more than Trypophobia in the aspect of the link. In the end, it is a subtle change based on probably a collection between two groups involved with the game (testers/players and developers).
But seeing the screen shot of the weapons and bits of play through the revealing, Trypanophobia (needles / syringes) would probably start to get triggered more than the icon triggers anything.
Mainly cause the icons are often not seen in game unless actively needing to have them seen (buying weapons, purposely looking for them) versus that the syringe/ needle type weapons. Which show a very medical type design and maneuvering to them. Meaning you're being in combat / encounters more then seeing the icons.
While the class is a healer. There is a unique element to it.
Change the green to red and on the icon, more will see the syringe / spikes. Focus on the aspect that Sage has an orchestra conductor meets a medical doctor combination, and the weapons now feel more threatening floating around to make precise healing/damaging injections to who the sage deems fit worthy of their time.
Sage is like William Defoe from Boondocks Saints became Dr. Monroe, but instead of beasts its giant sentient syringes.
Hmm. Might be a class to really look into now.
