He already chose max height in the benchmark. I think I might go max height, I am almost there already. Isnt it like 6 cm in difference or something when they are both maxed?if you like your female viera tall, you should go for max height! the difference in height is not that apparent anyways - otherwise to be shorter than him you must pull the height below 50%. i kind of find it cute you guys are the reverse height of the real world. since canonically in xiv the males are shorter - your bf should even go min height imo to make the reversal worth it xD
yeah i think it‘s 5cm and it‘s not that visible, or is it?

jokes aside, you can go max for both genders in the benchmark and compare them side by side. i‘m not sure yet if i‘ll go 180cm (my irl height) or just go max height to tower over hyurs and miqo‘tes xD
Why hopefully no vanilla ones? If they can easily get them to work I don't see why it'd be bad to unlock them, the more options the better.

Looks fantastic AND it was scaled appropriately.....cant say the same for other races (like roes) where the hats are too big even for them xD

There are two factors there though: modding and hairstyle choice.
Headgear only the game has to be sized to fit over any hairstyle, so it sits where it would need to meet with the widest fluffiest hairstyles, and short or tied-up styles are left with it sitting oddly loose as a result.
The character in the picture is using the sort of hairstyle that would fill the hat in any case, and additionally could be modifying it to fit perfectly.
It's just not the same situation as the one-size-for-all structure of the unmodded game.
It is hair that conforms to the hats, not the other way around. There are two factors there though: modding and hairstyle choice.

I'm not saying you're wrong because it's likely how it goes, but that doesn't really justify how that hat actually looks good on races like Miqo, Lalas or Midlanders, but for Roes it feels they just went *click, enlarge, done* without any control check whatsoever. Big races may not be popular by demand, but half assing it when it comes to them only adds insult to injury. There are two factors there though: modding and hairstyle choice.

I don't think so. Other than having a "lower half only" model that it switches to when wearing hats, I've never seen hair adjust shape to fit hats.
I will test it next time I'm in the game, but for now I doubt it.
I know I've tried on things like the baseball cap in the past and seen that it fits badly on my Miqo'te who has a high ponytail hairstyle.
