Serious note -Why so many toxic players lately?

This is not.. the best thing you could have said.

It's not deserving of vitriol but it's escalating for sure.



There's more people playing. More people means the chances of you meeting cruddy people has gone up. It happens. FFXIV has a generally good community but it's no utopia. Lots of newer people as well or returners who may be carrying habits over that were acceptable or commonplace in other games but not the usual for here.
