I don't think they should've used the Highlander model. Kimahri was the outlier of most Ronso being smaller than the others and I think that's who most people point to when comparing them to the Hrothgar, but the other Ronso are bigger than Kimahri. Plus the Hrothgar aren't even THAT big as people seem to keep implying, they're body builder sized:

They're enormous even by bodybuilder standards. You'd be looking at the very upper extremes to find someone that big.

I'm not dying to know, I simply find it curious to see people so blatantly using those numbers without a second thought, when very little is known about the methodology. They certainly look better than the ones simbiat (or whatever his name is) releases, but he uses the xivapi and its reliability is abysmal.

In all honesty I am curious now as well, because I hadn't given thought to the logistics involved in scraping the Lodestone to harvest data. I can understand why he doesn't specify this as a standard, because it probably goes beyond what most people are interested in or would understand about the topic, but at the same time he is Japanese so the answer may well already be there somewhere, in Japanese.

Using Highlander wouldn't have made them non-hunchbacked, they'd just be skinnier and hunchbacked. It's not like that's a trait they inherited from the Roegadyn model.
