Glamour is endgame, we need more plates.

Yeah it would be better if they just had them stored account-wide as unlocked skins in a proper transmog system like WoW or GW2 that you could apply without the need for a glam dresser, or plates.
I refuse to buy this is a technical issue that cannot be overcome. In a properly-designed system, the totality of a glamour log should only be several hundred bits (not bytes, bits), with a 1 representing 'yes' (the player has acquired an item), and a 0 representing a 'no' (the player has never acquired that item).
When I see SE argue that they cannot expand glamours because of system limitations, what I actually hear is them saying "we were too incompetent/short-sighted when coding the original glamour design (which is why its a convoluted and slapdash embarrassment), and don't want to allocate the resources to redo it at this juncture." And, simply put, that is utter ****.
Glamours are the endgame for more of the playerbase than they are not - I feel completely confident in saying that. If endgame activities were a marathon between people who PvP seriously, people who do ex raids, or people who prioritize glamming, the glammers win going away. It isn't even close (at least in NA). So this needs to be THE priority.
good idea, maybe if se feels a little generous we could also get cross class glam with that ^^?, a man can always dream...
I don't know if it's feasible for them to do or not, but a glamour catalog similar to WoW's transmog system where the appearance of any piece of gear you get is unlocked and available for glams would be great.
That way they don't have to keep adding more and more inventory slots or features for people to hold onto actual items.
Glamor system(s) aside, PS4 players should probably be developing their plans for the future as PS4 support will inevitably be phased out at some point just like PS3 was. Whether that's before or after the next gen Sony console we'll have to wait and see.So what if they can't fix it? I'm not saying they can or can't, but what if the only way to fix it. Is to cut off access to the ps4?
Or maybe it is something to do with this engine? Either way. I don't know any company who does not want to make consumers happy. Also, we don't even know if our brothers or sisters over in JP area even want more or care for more. So who should they listen too?
Don't forget there are dyes per item, thus making each item unique. The current system allows you to have multiple of the same outfit, but recolored interestingly enough. While I would like more glamour plates and more glamour storage too, you do have to keep in mind that they had to remove belts in order to even add more space to the armory chest for weapons. It's not very feasible for them to be able to extend space in the glamour dresser without expanding a lot more space by removing other stuff to create space.I refuse to buy this is a technical issue that cannot be overcome. Right, but most if not all Mogstore items are character locked, not account wide, so wouldn't it add up with all the characters?I refuse to buy this is a technical issue that cannot be overcome. They started with exactly the type of thing we have in XIV, though. They had to learn some lessons about that to get where they are now.
To the OP, yes, at least a plate for all combat and tradeskill classes.
