Are we going to get any more glamour plates with Endwalker?

We only have 15 glamour plates with 18 combat jobs, plus all the DoH/DoL jobs. Now with 2 more combat jobs being added, are we really going to just stay with 15 plates? I realize the whole glamour log/transmog system that people want is probably never going to happen, but can we really not at the very least get an equal number of plates to jobs? In a game that pushes glamours so heavily in its cash shop and festivals?

If all gear is going to be just "of Maiming" "of Fending" and we are going to keep sharing 5-6 sets among all the jobs, fine. We should at least have a way to distinguish between all the jobs. I don't get how this is not a high priority.

I would strongly encourage SE to seriously consider investing in more glam plates as well as more glam dresser slots, its already full for so many players.

We absolutely need more glam plates! Even if it means paying extra, like for aditional retainers. Please, no excuses! Make it a priority! We demand it!

They made some statement in an interview just a few days ago that the entire system is at maximum capacity (this was referencing the glamour chest specifically, but I think it's probably fair to extend that to the plates).

Honestly, the whole thing needs to be torn down and rewritten at this point. The game needs to keep just a general yes/no tally of whether you have collected an item at some juncture, and then allow you to apply those appearances to a character freely at-will. I don't tend to exalt World of Warcraft, but this is the basic model that they use, and it works exceedingly well, and is far less clunky than glamours on the whole.

Ultimately, if they're going to continue to make selling these outfits such a large part of the business model for FFXIV, then the glamour system needs to be broadened exponentially. My bag/armoire/glamour/template space has reached critical mass, and I am done deleting hard-earned items.

Good summary of a lot of weird systems in FFXIV. Issue is, they likely do not have the time/manpower/money to do such a thing.

I mean if you read the statement they made, this just wasn't possible. They tried on a few occasions to implement some kind of glamour log, but for now it's not going to happen, although they did say they may try to revisit it in the future. The game can't even keep a tally on whether you own a minion/orchestion roll etc or not you view on the marketboard, so it they can't even do something with that....

Their immediate priority should really be increasing inventory or retainers space as they've barely changed over the years, while the Saddlebag is hardly a long term solution. Guess additional retainer revenue is too good to change the status quo.

If even the plates thing is at "maximum capacity" and they cannot add more, then they need to stop flooding us with so many glamour only items and start coming up with something else when it comes to festival rewards or selling shit on the cash shop.

I didn't ask for a glamour log. I even said I realize they have said its not possible.
