I've checked a few of the streams lately out of curiosity and expected to dislike it because of the endless posts about "WoW persona" and a rabid fanbase, but to be honest I haven't really seen it. He openly voices when he thinks something sucks and his chat are a fairly standard twitch chat but overall it's just a regular stream, excessive abuse isn't encouraged and he seems to be having fun with the game and is being fair with it.

I'm surprised people are so grumpy about his crowd of fans. A bit of queue time isn't the end of the world and it's nice to see it as an event of sorts to break the monotony of log on, roulette, log off. Sure the crowd jumping about with shiny weapons are a little childish, but the majority of it is harmless excitement. I imagine he doesn't mind it overall because it's a part of what MMO's are about, sharing an open fantasy game environment with thousands of other people. I'm glad they're all having fun being silly and making the most of it.

I'm also impressed he's made a stream about ARR questing so popular. Most of us believed it'd never work, but he's capturing that new-game excitement well. 150k viewers is massive, it's brilliant advertisement for the game and overall it's just a positive. Credit where credit is due.
