

well MCH already crouches when using air anchor. Probably use that animation instead of just going prone or building a wall. Probably just me but whenever I see Mustadio in the ivalice raids I can't help but think of how MCH would be better with a sniper rifle.SWToR did this with Agent -> Sniper. It worked there because you had your personal 'barrier' to flavor your root wherever you were, but the game geometry also counted, and pressing cover while within range / moving towards it would close the distance to applicable geometry.
I don't think it'll fly here. Even if you build the arenas to have said geometry for it, I don't see very many of the people who played Mach / Ranged wanting that extent of movement removal.
MCH is a pet job by association, with barely any other way of interplay with its pet, DRK is a better pet job. You didn’t say it was fun but it should be a absolute priority. I’d much rather have a nice fluid kit than a 2 button prompt that is comparably to superior jobs. Cast bars were a thing in HW and I don’t remember it having glowing reviews like SAM RDM or DNC. Might have to go back in time in the forums to check and there’s the issue. We shouldn’t dig up the past like this MCH should have a unique hinderance not go backwards..
Going off a interview that talks about reaper they seem to count MCH as a pet job still, with how they designed MCH in shb they seem to be trying to make it the selfish dps of the range physical since it lacks any support tools of its own (other than tactician which lets be honest can be a tole action since all three have it essentially), and i never said that adding cast bars would make it more fun i said if people want the mobility tax lessened they would have to add something that hinders their movement. Even so it wouldn't really be random since its first appearance in the game it had cast times and people enjoyed the job with them.
MCH is a better pet job than DRK since you get more queen's than you get living shadows in a fight (even then DRK doesn't have more interplay with their living shadow than queen). Adding a limit to the mobility of the job while trying to maximize the amount of damage you do would be fun to some, you might not find it fun but someone else would (especially if you can turn on and off your cast times like before). Idk if you were referring to mch with the kit statement but mch has a fluid kit in shb and isn't a 2 button prompt and idk what you're comparing. If you say so, having 5 or so OGCD isn’t fluid it’s fatty, filler, fodder, not fluid. That’s the issue with MCH with having so few skills but having pointless ones aswell disregarding numbers. MCH has so many half assed cards in many camps, pet jobs, support, selfish dps, let’s not throw one in the Caster class aswell. Tbh I prefer living shadow, just because it actually uses Aoes. And oh boy, I hope if they keep queen they make it focus the ennemy you are targeting, how frustrating it is when it roller dash to narnia to hit an invulnerable add.

I’d believe them if they said they are removing the turret for how loose and filler it is, if it didn’t already appear in concept art. It’s not at the top of my list but Turrets need good synergy with MCH kit, not some glorified Dot
lvl 90 skill the mch enters queen and becomes iron man!
jokes aside , the turret/queen...ugh, there is 0 synergy nor fun to have is fire and forget

But what we asked during sb was just: make WF 11 sec (no barrel time of 9 sec instead) or no animation lock for the ping problems and have like 2 charges on our key spells, to be more lenient in our burst phase with bosses that f off (or just dont put a boss disapearing at 70 seconds, isnt it, kefaust). But we got nothing the whole expac and now we have a big snooze fest of a job where all the old mch main got bored and changed.
