Yeah, on one hand they COULD have said "Female Hrothgar are coming" simply to get the heat off their backs and let people know they haven't forgotten them. But at the same time they coulda also said "Female Hrothgar are planned to come in 7.0" if that were the case.

Saying "We decided to release them as we finish em, so MV in first 6.0 and Female Hrothgar after" leaves an impression. Personally, I don't think they would have made the mural or the clearly unique body for the Femroe Queen if they didn't have the design nailed down and wanted to drop hints. If they're that far that they feel comfy doing that, then it's not too strange to think we could be seeing them before 7.0 and given that they are a "known" thing that's coming, their reveal doesn't have to have the same set up as others.

I believe they will come out before 5.3 for sure, 5.3 being the midpoint of the expansion around late holiday 2022. So we'll either get them summer 2022 or winter 2022.

People made similar speculations to Male Viera coming out middle of Shadowbringers...look what happened, have to wait till Endwalker.

They would not say "we're adding female Hrothgar also" if it wasn't coming out this expansion. Why mention that they're coming when you could've saved that for 7.0's fanfest? No, they're definitely coming in Endwalker.

And if you arn't creativly bankrupt you could make any bodytype look good.
Nah, just default to slim, give FemHroths the same slim body type 5 other Races in the game already have.

I don't know, I feel like there are a lot of different interpretations for "thicker". Some of the depictions I've seen on female hroth, do kind of look like "males with boobs". Also, I think players should keep in mind how some proposed depictions would actually look, translated to the game. With the game's graphics, animations, and outfits. Along with the fact, the more animalistic and "unique" the heads are, the higher chance they are going to be in the exact same state as male hroth, and have to fantasia to change to their other hair.

Wanting a thicker build =/= "male with boobs"

Wanting them to have no sexual dimorphism (when the males have an exaggerated male figure)/ to have traditionally male proportions (much wider shoulders and waist compared to their hips along with being ripped af)/ saying "just take the male model and add boobs!/ to be like the Charr and basically look like the dudes!" (I've even seen someone suggest they shouldn't have boobs, just like the Charr) are all things I have seen said here through direct comments and art.

Lumping "thicker build" with a lot of the suggestions I've seen is like someone taking "I like thick women" to mean "I like obese women".
Like nah, there's a big difference between the likes of Lady D and Urbosa and most of what I've seen suggested here. Many are legit just asking for beefed out Femroe, who have a tiny player base because their measurements make them look like "men with boobs" in most gear.

People have every right to want that, but you can't really hide behind people drooling over Lady D as if the suggestions and art work ya post are even in the same world of builds.

This is very true. That's why I feel Highlanders are a great example of what an active/ strong female body should look like in this game. They look feminine in their gear, they don't suffer from the Femroe mini-game of "what can I wear that doesn't make me look like a man or a man in drag?" that cuts off 60% of gear if you don't want that look. As for the face I tots wouldn't blame them for making some changes from the males, I actually expect it.

Femroes are 'buff and masculine' only because they're huge and, much like their male counterparts [paraphrasing a quote I liked from elsewhere] - "they're not what people who like big characters like, they're what people who don't like big characters think people who like them like", even when Merlwyb is right there

There is a whole world of body shapes that are not represented in this game that are "thicker" than what we have (and are not considered typically desired by mainstream media), yet somehow the depiction is always some beefed up inverted triangle that looks more masculine than Femroe. Where's the pear shaped love? How many are asking for them to look like "plus sized models"?

Also, no, Femroe look masculine because they have muscles with shoulders that are wider than their hips and a wide waist. Wide shoulders and narrow hips and muscle insure they look masculine regardless of their height setting. Lady D is 12ft tall (HUGE) and doesn't look buff or masculine.

Appealing to a niche or appealing to a wider audience, which will SE choose? I've got my money on the latter. Plus, refrigerator isn't a natural body shape.

As far as I can see, the only reason Hrothgar were restricted to males was because of female-only Viera. Since male Viera are being added with 6.0, chances are they may end up adding female Hrothgar as well eventually; though they will be breaking lore by doing so.
