The game has something like 80 dungeon instances. And everyone complains they are just hallway simulators. Have you noticed tho, that instead of dungeons, they've put that effort into story instances? Doing again what people asked. Rather than bog down dungeons with cutscenes, we got longer, more interesting solo encounters (in my mind at least)

Plus, the dungeon quality itself has gone up, even if they are more streamlined.
We lost 9 bosses because no deep dungeon and then 9 bosses from the missing dungeons. I don’t think that makes up for the instances we got from bozja. For the deep dungeon, they didn’t even do anything special. They just made it sync so people could step into it at 70 and level. I could really care less about story instances considering they last about 10 minutes lol. But if people wanted that then i guess...seems like a bad trade off though. I disagree with the dungeon quality going up though. Base ShB dungeons were good, but the posts dungeons are horrible. Paglthan had a good cutscene while still being a somewhat engaging dungeon though. Honestly though, my only wish for Endwalker is that they give us back primal weapons for the new jobs. Gnb and Dnc getting none was horrible.
