SB released a fair good amount of things that were pretty unique at that point. Also had a bit more at fanfest than ShB has, and with the way ShB has been im just worried. People said the same thing before ShB and look what happened lol.But like no expac really released a ton of new content in the sense that it's entirely unique to that expac they have the core content and the island sanctuary is just one of the bigger features so of course it'll be advertised the most. ShB had the ARR Revamp trusts and ishgard restoration as it's like primary fanfest points no need to start doomsaying when they're probably only working on 6.0 - 6.1 at most atm
Stormblood really only announced swimming and eureka though. What else was "unique", other than eureka (which everyone says they hated, except now, apparently everyone loved it.)
I mean PotD, Hildibrand, Ultimate, Island Sanctuary alongside all the now core content releases has been confirmed to be coming in EW (not in fanfest but interviews preceding and following EW reveal and fanfest) They've announced a pretty full launch and first patch so personally I'm not seeing the worry so far. So far 6.1 will have the first alliance raid tier, Islands, DSW Ultimate, a dungeon and 6.0 final bosses ex not to mention savage prog for some people will still be active from 6.05 onwards
Actually thinking back ultimates may have been announced in the 4.1 LL but I'll need to check
Regardless though, just seeing the downward trend from SB to ShB. I’m hoping EW somehow brings it back up and gives us the content back that we lost. I guess we’re still sticking to one dungeon per patch though :/ Weird to me how SB was able to give us so much content and still keep up with the 2 dungeons per patch but ShB couldn’t at all even with removing them.
We got extra large scale dungeons tho (24 and 48 man instances), bozja was eureka and a deep dungeon replacement for leveling.Regardless though, just seeing the downward trend from SB to ShB. The game has something like 80 dungeon instances. And everyone complains they are just hallway simulators. Have you noticed tho, that instead of dungeons, they've put that effort into story instances? Doing again what people asked. Rather than bog down dungeons with cutscenes, we got longer, more interesting solo encounters (in my mind at least)
Plus, the dungeon quality itself has gone up, even if they are more streamlined.

We lost 9 bosses because no deep dungeon and then 9 bosses from the missing dungeons. I don’t think that makes up for the instances we got from bozja. For the deep dungeon, they didn’t even do anything special. They just made it sync so people could step into it at 70 and level. I could really care less about story instances considering they last about 10 minutes lol. But if people wanted that then i guess...seems like a bad trade off though. I disagree with the dungeon quality going up though. Base ShB dungeons were good, but the posts dungeons are horrible. Paglthan had a good cutscene while still being a somewhat engaging dungeon though. Honestly though, my only wish for Endwalker is that they give us back primal weapons for the new jobs. Someone on reddit did the math a while back, and ShB is not lacking in bosses compared to previous expansions, nor is it lacking in unique weapon models. I wish i could find it, but i'm not big into reddit so i didnt save the post.
