Legacy Chocobo

This thread has been eye opening. I had no idea there was a single human being out there that liked that chocobo. I disliked the gear on it so much when I first got it in 1.0. Can safely say I've never summoned it by choice in all my years playing. What do you guys like about it vs a regular chocobo?

That 1.0 goobie on the other hand. That's my bae.

As for the subject itself, my opinion has been the same on anything 1.0 item related. Release it to the masses. Was a nice treat for the... what 10 years now? Seems bizarre to keep it to the 5 legacy players still active in this game. There's a similar crown item they did for Ballista in FFXI many, many years back. A one time thing. Most awesome award to get... but I'm sure not a single person from that team still plays. So why keep the item locked from the rest of the game? Doesn't make sense at a certain point.
