Not looking for easy street..

These duties are meant to be easy enough for everyone to complete them no matter their skill or knowledge level related to the game. If you're struggling that bad, you should be asking yourself what you can do better.

I am just speaking on what is difficult for me at this time and wish I could get around it somehow. I am sure you as an "elite" player would not find any difficulty. I am not the usual player but I really enjoy many aspects of this game so I will continue to make it through the MSQ as best as I can. If you enjoy dissing me Miss Katie Kitty about doing something better, I am a 72 yr old great gramma so have at it, if not, just plz allow me to vent as I struggle with becoming less able to adapt than I was 25+ yrs ago playing my first MMOs. I am just not quite ready to let them go and used to do things "better" as you have so eloquently stated I must

Could someone please explain why there are quests that even at the "easy" level are almost impossible to win? Especially when your fighting as a NPC..I'm working on Full Steam Ahead! I will be stuck at this point in the game forever. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to be handed a win, but come on! Easy, for me anyways, isn't any easier than the normal level. I don't see any changes, he loses health at the same rate, which is slower than molasses in January (yes I'm that old), his attacks all hit cause the same rate of damage. I know there are players that will laugh at this, but I'm just here to have fun, relax, and escape the real world, when the game becomes more frustrating than the world I'm trying to escape, and provides no fun, it's not worth my time or money.

I feel your pain I usually just have a bit of trouble with one boss in the MSQ. I rinse and repeat until dead.

I was about to murder Noctis if he didn't stop running to the same tower as me in the one fight about midway through.

I love you!! I'm going to be 61 this year and completely agree with you. I've been playing for 21 years. They don't understand that we don't make this our life. It's entertainment, or supposed to be.

Hehe well ty My game venue now mainly consists of dreading and then getting through the MSQ as it smacks me in the face, daily elite hunt trains (fun, fun!) for tomes/gear, crafting, gathering (got the purple MHS) and tribes/fishing and things like that. I love house crafting and deco and never stop sending my FC subs out for goodies (dang RNG lol). I used to live in PotD, HoH and completed all Eureka and it's counterparts. I may start the new 24s when the new season begins, we shall see. I find myself enjoying the more relaxed non-full of jerk content these days and that is BETTER for me Glad to see I am not the Lone Ranger lol.

i agree, even on easy mode figthing as thancrid i cant get past that msq , and have been doing it for two days . i want to move forward not have to give my pass words to someone else to do it for me . they should have after 10 tries have the npc die . so i can move on i have him down to a third of his health and then i am dead. i cant use sprint or even drink a potion . this is worse than the one msq that i had to get the three feathers down . and only could get through that with the summoner . Blm i was slaughtered . dummy them down .and i am 60 so right with you guys . and to boot my computer . is on the low end of the spectrum .

Grats on finishing though. I think after like 6 or 7 tries and not being able to read the text clearly due to old age cataracts heh, I threw that bubble over all of us and that thing I protected after straining to see the blurry protect the tank text and it completed. That may of been how I succeeded. Not sure, just happy it was friggin done.

I don't like playing as not-me. I created me to play as me, I don't want to be someone else. But my issue is something that comes up quite a bit in this game, usually during the "playing as not-me" bits but not always. You're in the instance for 10-15 minutes, and it's pretty much impossible to fail. Then, there's a non-obvious mechanic that you have to get exactly right or you fail. Then it's 10-15 minutes of filler while you think about what went wrong and you try again. Googling doesn't always help because the replies to the questions are often toxic "How cud u fale on that u noob, git gud scrub."

I'm older, like some of you, so I don't have cat-like reflexes. Thankfully some of the newer quests have save-points now and they've added the lower difficulties. But lower difficulty doesn't help if you've misread the mechanic somehow.
