Oh, strange that you, hermanos, need to pay the normal $ price, i through it was like here, where we can pay with our local money at a static price, hope this change for you soon. ;-;

Thanks ^^ I knew a lot of people who wanted to play FFXIV but they rather pay for WoW because its cheaper, kinda sad because ffxiv is so good.
Why do you assume I am a USAian? HA!
You base sub is quite good, your 1226 pre-tax is cheaper than ours at (a converted) 1,496 pesos, but yep your tax totally sucks. Thats not a SE thing though, that's something on your citizens. Not sure why any person would allow tax to hit 70% without kicking out the government.
But your pre-tax subscription cost from SE, is 270 pesos cheaper than ours.

Yoshida speaks with @TierraGamer about wrapping up the Hydaelyn and Zodiark story arc, Old Sharlayan, the reaper job, and regional data centers in this Spanish (LATAM) language interview (with English translation)!
It's quite impressive how this game is localized in German/French and not Spanish which would reach way more people (I'm not criticizing the localization for french or german, it's just interesting).
A LA data center would be nice since our ping can make harder content quite frustrating, depending on the fight, but as someone that lives in South America, I honestly feel that it's almost like we don't exist for (most) asian game companies, so I don't really have a lot of hope.
C'mon. Stop acting like people that want a localization or a server with better ping are lazy people that don't want to learn english. That's quite far from the truth, a lot of latinos are used to playing games in english already, there's nothing wrong with wanting to see how the story plays out in your native language (I don't even speak spanish, so I wouldn't benefit from this, but as someone that enjoys learning languages, the more options of localization a game has, the better).
I'm conflicted about a latam datacenter because while my ping may love it [I literally can't double weave], latam gaming communities tend to be.....less than friendly
After years of playing a BUNCH of MMOs and having this mindset at the beginning, I don't believe that this is true, at all. I mean I would say that LATAM can be more competitive towards PvP games and as such, more ""toxic"" (but not way more toxic than the same hardcore pvpers from other parts of the globe) and, since the player base is usually smaller depending on the game, your sample of people is also smaller. It's easier to look at gringo communities that tend to be way bigger and feel like they're better, but the more I play games with international communities in general, the more I feel that the difference is not that big.
