They were concerned with it though. They literally talk about how they had been researching all of the phenomenon as much as they could.The Final Days were noted as spreading across the world like a disease, with it initially manifesting as isolated incidents of natural disasters and spontaneous creation, but their frequency and scale increased until nobody was spared.
I feel like we're probably going to stop it before it gets particularly bad (Unlike the Amaurotines who didn't seem terribly concerned about it until it had already reached apocalyptic levels), though it seems obvious that Thravnair at minimum is going to get hit hard by it.
