    If a dev team I trusted for such were at the helm, I'd agree. But, alas, I've disliked more than not from the NIN, MNK, and MCH reworks, each (and arguably even those softer "reworks", or drastic reiterations, of DRK and BRD).

    Without that, I can only hope we finally see an aim towards cohesion, distinction, and interesting play, and realize that such does not necessarily sacrifice parity (and that whatever apparent fight design constraints or broad conventions that would make interesting parity appear impossible are more than worthwhile to address and correct).

    Why do casters and healers have cast bars? They just artificially raise the skill ceiling.

    I'd rather hit positionals than to sit still and be a melee ranged BLM. There's nothing wrong with them and it's getting pretty tiring of having to repeat this every now and again.

    If that were the case there would be no complaints.

    A good first step however is combo actions to resolve button bloat for both controller players and those that use a M/KB.

    Wasn't stated that the rework we got in ShB was just the foundation for something new in EW?

    It's very hard to think they will leave the job like it is. They removed GL for a reason, and it was because it represented a design brickwall. With that out of the way, there is room for anything new, and I'm hoping for a fancier combo system than the ones the job has now.

    Nah, it's just an assumption from the reddit. The rework we got was in response to the playerbase not liking the rework going into Shadowbringers.

    And GL was never a design brick wall, they just kept designing skills for it. Hell, Monk played better when it had no GL maintenence tools aside from "be aggressive." Fit the Monk theme better back then too.

    Machinist again is my best guess.

    This Job has gone through entire 100% gameplay changes every single expansion because the developers can't figure out how to design the job.

    The other jobs mostly only go through 50% to 90% but Machinist always seem to go through 100% redesigning.

    I'll preface this by saying I don't do savage and I am not a number cruncher like a lot of people are. But, in terms of enjoyability SCH and SMN need the biggest rework. They were literally my two favorite jobs. I can barely stand playing either one of them now.

    Oh I can agree on that. Healers need a lot of work in general.

    SMN is so ass backwards between summoning rotation/ruin spam and DoT mage.

    Really works against itself IMO.

    All tanks are REALLY boring right now. DRK is the same as WAR and if you know how to play 1 tank you know almost everything for the others.
