    Defnitely. People speculate that only AST will have heavy changes, but the healers are the group that really needs more cohesion between themselves, tanks coming in second and then dpsers (more when the subject is support).

    I really think they will take the opportunity to do more than just superficial changes to the other healers. Some more than others, but defnitely we'll see something meaningful to make all four of them work in a more cohesive way.

    One thing that really bothers me, nor just about healers, but a lot of jobs out there, is that ARR and HW job quests are making reference (even more in EW) with job actions that are nothing like their original versions anymore. I wonder if they will go back to retcon some stuff.

    I have played MCH since HW and I like its current iteration most. I’m scared they will overhaul it again, or add too many new skills

    Speaking for healers, of course SCH and AST need serious changes, but I'm surprised how some people think WHM is in a perfect or even good spot.

    Spamming 1 ability for 30 seconds is not fun gameplay.

    I'm hoping for a more interesting DPS rotation on all the healers. I also hope they pull back on the healing skills bloat and bring back MP management.

    Jobs I think need complete reworks - WAR, MNK, BRD, SMN, All Healers.

    As people have said WAR and DRK are too similar, one of them needs to change. People say DRK is boring, but I don't think fixing that involes a complete rework. So I think WAR needs to start over, there are so few skills, its so boring to play.

    I also think DNC and RDM could stand to have way more skills, their hotbars are so empty its depressing, but I don't they need reworks. I think their design is very good as the easy ranged and caster dps to play, they just need more skills to use at end game.

    MNK is the only job I actively dislike. I enjoyed it at 50, it felt complete then for the level it was. But after that, its only gotten a huge pile of skills that aren't fun to use.

    BRDs rotation is awkward. Every so often you mash all your buttons, and then you go back to a level 15 esque rotation. Its boring.

    SMN is a collection of unrelated sets of skills that don't interact with each other, its a mess. Something, possibly multiple things need to go. And I'm absolutely on the side of, its egis. I dont like them. They're awkward, clunky, slow, and when I think about how smooth and fun the Demi transition is from one to the next, it makes me wonder why egis are even here.

    Literally every other mmo I've playes had pet jobs that were fun and engaging. But the FFXIV devs have shown that they simply cannot make pets fun or even functional. Egis and fairies are holding SMN and SCH back, they need to go.

    As for healers, I have the same complaints as many people. Waaaayyy to many healing spells for the healing requirements in this game, and a dps "rotation" of one button on repeat is a design choice I still cannot fathom how it made it through to the final product. Healing has always been something I enjoyed very much in every other mmo I've played, but in this game, if I was to describe healers to someone who plays a different mmo, they'd think I was joking. All healers need a proper dps rotation and to have a good chunk of healing skills cut out to make room. Because this dev team doesn't want to increase the healing frequency in their encounter design, this is the only way their going to make healers enjoyable to play.

    Yeah, that's probably my biggest issue overall with a bunch of classes at this point. I hate the whole "activate mode then spam 1 button over and over until it ends" thing that's become common place. Not only it is boring to play but it also just looks dumb visually.

    If you want to make it a DoT class, then make it a Dot class.
    If you want it as a pet class, make it a pet class.
    If you want it as a phase burst class, then make it a phrase burst class.

    Just stay with one idea and keep it. Not weird conglomeration of all your failed ideas

    Well, it's been as you described since 3.0, cast DoTs, Egi Garuda Contagion, AF X 3, DWT for burst.
    The problem is they keep trying to please everyone on the boards and everyone has a different vision for SMN.

    But yea, I can agree they need to pick a style of game play and stick with it.

    See this, this right here? This is the correct level of anticipation for Monk changes. Not "what exciting new skill are we gonna get?!" or "what awesome mechanic are we going to get to play with" it's more... "what else could they possibly do to it?"

    I can see SCH getting a MCH style rework as well. I truly believe they will finally separate the job from Arcanist/SMN.
