    So, something kind of like what BLU has going on in that you have different actions that do the same thing but have different elements/animations? I've always liked that aspect, it allowed for more creative combinations in your spell loadout. I would love something like that for all other jobs, where you can customize the animations/theme but it's purely aesthetic so nobody would need to be hounded about "optimization". It would add flavor and make the way you play the class feel a little more "unique".

    ya that and switching around what order or type are combo does like my first example.

    Seeing how one of the reasons why SE don't wanna open up universal glamour system where, as an example, a WHM can use plate like WAR can, is that they want to keep the personalities between each job category and not make things confusing visually, I doubt we'll ever see a system where one can switch the visuals on the skills.
    It's a nice idea and it reminds me of back in City of Heroes/Villains where a player could costumize the looks on skills with visuals and colors.

    Tbh it looks like that got thrown out with reaper basicly being a mele dps dark knight.. So i dont think thats true any more (and im probably going to main reaper) that said with armor i can get it, abilitys are a little different

    Sure but adding a new house item every patch isnt or new pvp when most ppl cant get a plot and pvp is a bit trashy lol.. Plus this can be done with enemy animation already in the game so wouldnt take as much effort as you think.

    So strong disagree and in a rpg customization and stuff like this is worth way more than raid and pvp lol

    But people with plot are money for SE (since they have to keep their subs), and adding item is less work than tweaking animation. As for pvp, fair point, but they also don't spend a lot of time tweaking it.

    I don't get why you mentioned enemy animation. Are we talking about skill glamour or BLU animation?

    So let's say you want a berserker with shield/paladin without the holy skill, what will happen with holy spirit etc.? Are they going to have no skill effect? Completely different animation?

    Id love a system like this to glamour unheated shots and such onto mchs rotation to keep the same gameplay but with gunner aesthetics not techno

    Many npcs for example' dark fire is already an animation as is anicent etc, so is many water and otger attacks that can be used.. They would just change holy into beast rages like the final boss in heros gauntlet

    My point is alot of the animations to do this are already in the game just need a few tweeks and they good to go "most"

    If it was that easy to do just a "few tweeks" we'd see Egi glams years ago seeing how they could've just copy+pasted enemy models people been wanting.
