Then why bother giving us a 9S hairstyle?I understand being disappointed, but the way I see it the 2B outfit itself was an extra bonus outside the scope of what alliance raids normally give anyway. So a lot of the complaining to me comes across as 'why didn't we get a SECOND bonus glamour set outside the scope of what alliance raids have ever given in past expansions?'
Why would waiting for the final raid have helped anything or freed up art resources to somehow get in another outfit?
9S appeared in the questline even before 2B, but for some reason we got Devola & Popola outfits and they didn't even appear, yet not his.
Say it louder for the people in the back. We still got popola and devola which to my knowledge, are both female. And the glams themselves i don’t think are even changed much between the male and female versions. What’s not fair imo is that we have, multiple female designed outfits in the nier raids, on top of most of the hairstyles this expansion being feminine/androgynous. It’s just a constant “screw you” to male characters. The first raid is literally 9s themed yet we get a 2b coffer... I mean it’s not a secret that nier is very feminine themed, but i was still hoping they’d give male characters something especially considering Yoshi himself said we’d get what we asked forProbably shouldn’t have said something like that.
With a little creativity you can make your own 9S glam with existing gear, and no not just the things that come from the nier raid.![]()
The point is though, we should’ve gotten a 9s glam. It isn’t fair that the female characters keep constantly getting things suited for them, and the males have to work with scraps. It’s constantly been like this throughout this expansion and it’s ridiculous.

Collab only happened becuase people thirst for 2bApparently the development team forgot that there's a sizeable portion of players in this game who don't care for 2B, let alone the idea of dressing up as her.
It's a shame, since it isn't as if the Nier and Drakengard games are lacking in male characters to base glamour off of but it just didn't seem to be a priority for some bizarre reason.
Because a lot of ppl wanted to wear a dress as a male. Ppl who maybe don't even play or keep their male character.
Even if the 2b outfit hapened because ppl loved 2b, adapting the outfit takes time and work. 9S outfit was already in the game, why not put that same time and work on 9S outfit instead of 2B outfit for the males?
Because the males players who enjoy playing masculine characters are the minority?

Not in the slightest. Though the development team take a lot of their feedback from the likes of Reddit and Twitter - both of which are echo chambers that make some things seem more popular than they actually are.
An excellent example of that is female roegadyn. They're widely praised and made to seem like the best thing ever, but so few people actually play them in-game.
I've been advocating for more masculine glamour/hairstyles for years at this point. Sadly, many businesses have become obsessed with what I refer to as 'visible pandering'. Despite a lot of gay men, myself included, just wanting to see some conventionally attractive customisation options added to the game it has become very common for the development team to just piece together overly feminine/androgynous hairstyles and brand them 'unisex' despite being obviously geared towards feminine characters as a priority.

Thank you. Someone had to say it.I've been advocating for more masculine glamour/hairstyles for years at this point. What are you looking at when you say that, and what are you overlooking?
The NieR collaboration has given an assortment of male-specific jackets and unisex-masculine coats, including the requested 9S cosplay or something close to it. The Crystarium aiming/scouting sets as well. Edenmete trenchcoats? Bozja gear?
Even the hairstyles aren't entirely feminine. The one free style we've gotten all expansion is masculine, while the feminine ones all cost time or gil (while male characters can benefit if they're the lucky winner who doesn't want it). Then there's the Wind Caller style from Bozja and two of the three Ishgardian styles were finishing off the male winners of the hairstyle competition, even if they do look more "boyish" than "manly". And 9S's style as well.
At least part of the ongoing complaint about lack of anything for male characters come down to a mismatch in what the creators see as the divide between styles versus what the individual players are after. It's not the same thing as them actually never releasing anything.

They probably had to save some cosmetics for the new NieR raids in 7.X..............(@SE: please don't...)

Probably shouldn’t have said something like that.
