Q: A lot of players enjoy making new characters, but get scared of having to redo everything. Are there any plans to make Achievements, Minions and Mounts or even Glams account wide?
Short A: No
Longer A: There is NewGame+ if you want to play the story again, there are Fantasia if you want to change your looks and if you want to make a new char for RP get a level boost on the Mogstation

Q: You announced that Male Viera will be added in 6.0. A lot of players are still waiting for additional hairstyles or the option to wear hats on Viera or Hrothgar, are these being worked on and potentially introduced with the addition of Male Viera?
Short A: Not yet
Long A: First off, the reason why Viera and Hrothgar can't wear hats right now is the following. We have very standardized specifications when it comes to head gear and the unique design with the long ears on Viera doesn't always meet these specifications. If we allowed every head gear piece, it would lead to clipping or other errors. The unique design of Viera and Hrothgar just prevents us from allowing these pieces, if we want to follow our specifications
Nevertheless, we are aware of player feedback and we are definitely not the kind of dev team that ignores their players feedback. (Healers would like to know your location)
There were a few things we said would be impossible to do, but we worked hard on it and made it possible in the end... I hope to have some good news soon.

Reaper has 3 types of actions, scythe, avatar, joint scythe+avatar
Its sounding like a burst dps
Anime influence, bleach for one example

No plans to make game more alt friendly

Hats later for buns/lions, finish the genders first

God that's really sad. Newgame+ and fantasia addictions are not a replacement for exploring the game as different characters.

Except it literally is. If you want to do that, Fantasia and New Game+ are there for you.

In a game where you can be literally any job on a single character, alts don't make a lot of sense.

The game has a significant portion of role-players, though. To the point that many fluff features are designed specifically for their benefit. Which, in turn, makes me suspect that the real issue is not wanting to do anything that'd threaten to eat into fantasia and story skip sales.

Even putting aside role-players...sometimes people just like having different characters to play. You technically only need one character to do everything in a game such as Dark Souls or Monster Hunter World but that doesn't mean people don't create multiple characters there.

I think it's fair if items that you get only from doing contents in the game (esp from achievements) are limited to the character you use to obtain them. Otherwise, it can be acc wide.

The Souls franchise is different because of how you create your own builds for the game. I have over 6 characters in Dark Souls 2 just from messing around and trying out new ways to play.

Not gonna hand over 35+ dollars, taxes included on all the purchases and resubbing, every time on name changes and fantasia's when I want to play around on another character. My alt Rupert Faradae wouldn't be caught dead wearing long sleeve clothes. My alt Brandon Sharpe wouldn't ever go without masks. My main Allison Amelie, previously Alvaro Rivera (fantasia'd and name changed because there is no job in the game that fits his theme anymore), wouldn't ever go parading around in hats. Sometimes I want to play certain jobs and wear certain pieces of glamour but they do not fit certain characters. Not gonna play anything aside RDM or MCH on Rupert, as nothing else fits his theme. Not gonna unlock or play tanks or MCH on Brandon, not his thing. Not gonna unlock GNB or play melee jobs on Allison, not his thing.

I suppose I'll just be taking that 35 dollars elsewhere and spend it on food or on games that aren't as laughably restrictive when it comes to alts. Certainly not going to spend it on this game where you run of out crap to do endgame and getting alts through ARR is the biggest chore. Especially when a lot of other, far more entertaining, games are being released in June and July.

I have loads of characters and as a result I don't bother with collecting lots of things. Now if there was a common bank that would be awesome but it's not happening and not surprised with the answer.

So no new hairstyles nor hat compatibility for Vieira/Hrothgar as I expected. These races are really a waste if they don’t plan on making them fully customisable as the other ones. Adding male Viera/female Hrothgar won’t help.

I kind of expect that, really. Right now, I'm just happy we get to play as a male viera after so long (15 years since FF12 in my case, I always want to see one).
Just hoping that since we can't use most headpiece in game at least add more hair to both m/f viera so we can play around with that.
