From what I recall (meaning don't take this as gospel truth, I'm going off what I think I remember), originally they were just going to do Hrothgar but for whatever reason decided to do Viera as well, leading to the current situation.

Im aware. But I'm sure these people hired professional translators. I have yet to see yoship give one line answers regarding the Viera and hrothgar situation. Just don't want people to minimize what he actually said.

Then maybe they shouldn't release hairstyles at all, and focus those development resources elsewhere?

Honestly, i probably wouldn’t notice a difference. Lately all they’ve put out is feminine androgynous hairstyles and have screwed over the male characters numerous times this expansion. So much for Yoshi P wanting to diversify more and have an equal balance in things

Maybe if viera (female and male) were never added, and female hrothgar were never to be added, those resouces could be freed to actually make feminine and masculine hairstyles. Maybe even the WoD stubble.

Yeah. I just don’t know why they couldn’t be like. Okay, we’ll pick one male hairstyle and one female one. Boom, balance. Instead it’s just constant female stuff. Combined with the nier female outfit and a lot of glams just being very feminine esque this is a bad expansion to play a male character lol.

Honestly if people just blame the female hrothgar until they add hair fixes to both of the new races, I am going to be really salty. I find comments like these kinda baseless and annoying. We have no idea what is drawing on their resources unless they tell us openly about it.

You have no idea because you don't read what Yoshi P says. The man himself said it will take a massive amount of resources to make them. And even more once they're added. They're now working on female hrothgar. So good luck waiting for headgear till they're added and probably an expansion after adding them. And don't bring up COVID card, the pandemic only caused a delay, not a cut in content. They probably started working on the males since 5.1, which explains the decline in the amount of content since then. Bojza was even delayed to 5.35. So yes, the addition off male viera has caused loss of content and female hrothgar will cause even more.
