I think we're getting our wires crossed here.

The reason there wasn't a megathread for Viera and Hrothgar hairstyles from the start was because they already said they were adding more in future patches, so we didn't need a megathread.

The male Viera thread started earlier because they originally said they might not be able to do it and people wanted to encourage them to.

The Viera and Hrothgar thread was on the front page when I looked.
