For the record so is sexism.
When you accuse someone of these things it's a very serious attack on their character which shouldn't be done lightly.
I have huge issues with people who accused the devs of being sexist too when female Viera was released and people were comparing them unironically to the Hrothgar as if they were the same race and spinning narratives about it.
Same with people flipping out because gear is different between genders sometimes and female characters get skirts while male characters don't.
Just because you are a bit irritated doesn't make it right to throw serious accusations like that out.
I mean in that case too, just because things are different doesn't mean that it's discrimination and sexism etc...
Men wearing skirts is kinda frowned upon socially, so it's not that insane that devs in a game give female characters that stuff when it adds more variety and quite frankly a lot of people do want it too.
The same way that men are often depicted as shirtless while women aren't and usually have like half their torso covered at all times at least.
Even when it'd be more accurate and equivelant of just having a bra.
One can say that they want skirts for male characters too etc, but it's another thing to start throwing the '' sexism '' word around, especially since that also assumes negative intent on the side of the devs which you couldn't possibly actually know.
Just because a woman shows belly or whatever and a man doesn't it doesn't mean that it's sexism ( not to mention the accusation only tends to happen when it's female characters ).
Accusing someone of being sexist or racist has very negative implications on their character and in worst cases can also do actual harm.
Being labelled like that can do a lot of damage.
It's not fair to just see a female character showing skin or a lack of hairstyles and then yell '' sexism/ racism '', because that in and of itself is not indicative of their actual views it's just how you interpret it and then project it unto them.
I quite frankly don't think that it should be done or assumed unless something very clearly like that is actually said and expressed in a more clear manner that isn't left to interpretation and assumption..
