Can I ask what you want to personally achieve with this thread? I assume for the thread to be seen by the dev team, to be taken serious and to have the matter resolved sometimes soon? Or is it just to voice your dissatisfaction? Genuinely curious, because depending on the answer I really think adding to the megathread and keeping that one alive and going is the best method instead of having a super vague title and a very accusingly toned first post about the issue.

The idea that the megathread will dissipate into obscurity because other threads addressing specific topics exist is absurd. One existing does not mean the other cannot. People can post in both. There is not some sort of posting currency restricting what people can reply to. All it really results in is even more exposure for the issue. If you'd rather reply to the megathread, by all means do so, but you didn't do that, did you? You instead posted here. That was your choice, just as it was my choice to make a thread for this matter.

Okay you didn't really answer my question though. What IS the purpose of this thread? It feels more and more like you are venting and that is totally fine, if that is the purpose of this thread then by all means go ahead. My suggestion for merging with the megathread is only due more exposure and easier access for devs to actually know what players want. I think its very reasonable to think many tiny threads that die out after 5 pages will not help you be heared, compiling info and keeping that thread alive is better for being noticed. BUT that doesn't seem to be your goal.

And, I think, as I just said, both results in overall more exposure than just one or the other, and it costs nothing to have both. Your point resides on a presumption of one being mutually exclusive to the other, when it isn't, so I don't think you have a point. Unless, your goal is just to waste time and derail this thread, in which I think that's not allowed. Like I said before, if you think it would be better to post on the megathread, there is nothing stopping you from doing so. Just, try to be more on topic there than here. Thanks.

I understand we are all angry, but saying that SE is racist is a bit too extreme. You shouldn't be using a word that's so freaking heavy on the real world, to describe SE actions regarding this game.
Racism is not all about race and you should go to Miss Google and do a research on it.

On the other hand I agree that the more noise we do, the more likely are we getting an answer. So yes I think creating more threads about this situation would proly have a better impact. It's ridiculous...
We have been ignored for two years. We have absolutely no updates. We got Male Vieras but if that means no updates on Viera's customization please take Male Vieras back.

We had a two day Fan Fest and this topic was not addressed. Why? At this point I would rather prefer having a "We are still working on it please be patience" or a "No, vieras are not getting hairs anytime soon" than this horrible silence.
And for the people who said that we should change to a race that can use the hairs, well try to change to a race that you don't really care about...

No, I'm pretty sure the word racism is in-fact "all about race." I imagine if I searched enough, that I could find an opinion for anything, but it does not mean I would agree with it just because it exists. It's also not my duty to try to convince myself of some absurd position on the word racism because you'd prefer I see it that way, presumably. A bit more on topic, this ultimately is a racial matter either way, as Viera are a race, it is thus racist in a literal sense in regard to the game race to continuously exclude them for content, in particular for greed, which is what I believe to be the main motivation ultimately driving this current state on the issue.

I think we otherwise see eye to eye on the matter as two years with very little feedback on the matter is indeed something that really shouldn't be ignored at this point. Not mentioning it at all at fan fest and then releasing yet another hair this issues applies to is not helping at all and makes such a reply more than justified. I too believe both replying to the mega thread and making other threads addressing specific issues is both helpful in garnishing awareness and relevancy for the matters at hand. I feel like people saying to play another race are really just trolls at this point as it's really an absurd thing to suggest otherwise.

Lissen I get what you are saying, and I understand your are frustrated. I'm just underlining that the word Racism is very heavy. People get insulted, suffer from physical aggression and even die everyday just because they have different skin tone.
And I think its a bit too much saying SE and Yoshi P are racist. Call them Bunnyphobic, perhaps is better word with no heavy and real meaning attached to it!

Because Square is greedy and racist against Viera, they won't be getting a variant. Like, seriously. Enough is enough. It's dumb that they literally exclude hair variants for an entire race in the game due to greed.

I don't really think its greed, and its definitely not racism. Maybe they had planned on revamping the viera and hrothgar hair as the patches moved along, but they got sidetracked. By...I don't know...making male and female variants of the races, which they were not planning on doing in the first place, but decided to because of the outcry.

I'm more annoyed about how it's yet another female aimed designed and not unisex. Men are basically full on crossdressers in this game because nothing is masculine designed outside tank gear.

Tbh I switched to Hyur, and it's pretty refreshing to have more options ( and also hats ).
I might go back to Viera later because I still love Viera but it kinda puts things into perspective lol.

I had even forgotten that I had Minfillia's hair way back from ARR I think xD!
