Because they continually have more and more and more time to reach a resolution to an issue they have known about for almost two years now? Thus, why I keep bringing up the time that has passed. The longer it takes to address and overcome a hurdle, the more expectations are let down. This idea that one would mold their mind into one of acceptance of a company's failures with time is buttcheeks and the complete opposite of what one should do about anything ever. One should instead grow more restless and be more outspoken with time, not the opposite. It's far worse that the issue is still ongoing now than when Viera had just released.

I wasn't expecting it. I think we'll get more of the same until they make the announcement for new race specific hairs with hopefully the inclusion of some of the paid/reward type hairs as well. It is frustrating having an entire xpac go buy with nothing new but I think we can blame Male Viera and Fem Hroths for that. They are too busy working on those to address our needs.

They could have at least thrown us a bone or two with something new over the last 2 years.

Racist and greedy seem a bit extreme. We're all angry of course. I really want to use the new hairstyle as well. I really want something from SE addressing this issue that's been going on for two years. I want to use the hairstyles I've grinded days for and use the hats with my glam. And without having some sort of statement of acknowledgement, it does make us Viera and Hrothgar players feel ignored and unheard. We've been shoved aside while we've been paying our monthly subs while other races get to use the new items.

Overall this whole issue just feels to me like a strange business decision. I don't work in the game industry, but I feel like adding races (or anything really, jobs by exemple?) with limitations to your game, isn't the way to go? Players will gravitate less to an aspect of the game that has limitations compared to other similar aspects. Point in case, people switching back to another race because they get tired of Viera limitations, etc.

Yep. It's a long standing mega thread, with a whole lot of positive amongst the tantrums, which are just as disgusting as the OPs. I really hope more hair is made compatible, and that more hats are added, and that even old stuff is retooled to fit. But really, abusing the developers isn't the way to do this, and should never be seen as the way to do it. This thread, the bunny boy thread, the height slider thread, ANY thread. That rudeness and hostility is not seen as a positive by the Japanese, and needs to be called out, so it's toned down.

Yandere, whilst living up to the negative side of the personality her name describes, isn't doing anyone a favour starting a hair thread with outright abuse.

Mostly you will find, that such insults are not endearing to getting Japanese businessmen to react in a positive way. A little politeness, honey instead of vinegar, is a better method.

I wish you a lot of genuine hope for more hats and hair for Viera, but please consider if it might help your cause more if you were not to beat people over the head with outright abuse?

It's less of an insult and more of what I actually believe to be true. It's thus neither honey nor vinegar to me, but the plain truth of the situation. I don't wish to pretend otherwise to placate the egos of others in regard to what I believe is a clear failure on their part. This isn't abuse. This is well deserved criticism. It is not abuse, but the response to neglect.

We aren't children and this isn't a tantrum. We, as the customer base, are individuals who should have self respect for ourselves and not just cow over for our corporate product sellers who have put off addressing a matter they could have addressed for almost two years now. It hasn't even been seriously communicated about. There has been no talk of a plan or a progress report on it. It's, for the most part, being ignored. Hatred is not the opposite of love. Indifference is. At this point, I feel that Square is very indifferent towards this matter based on the lack of a reasonable address to it.

I'm not going to co-sign all the language used but we've been asking politely for a long time as well between all the angry threads and we get bupkis, not even a response beyond "wait a little longer" and then nothing.

So I do agree, but it wasn't just the mega-thread on here only cherry picking the ones asking nicely that got their attention, so clearly making a lot of noise works and pays off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
