As much as solo instances are ways to check DPS.

Simply put, people ignore SSS because it's useless shit and tells us nothing of value.

First off it is a solo instacne so again idk where you are going with that because unlike solo instancing random content this one is geared towards endgame encounters.

No one is arguing the quality of the content but you. I am only saying that there is infact something in game you can use.

And if you want to break it down let's look at some numbers using everyone's favorite parser website:

You got a Top JP MNK player who clears Diamond Weapon EX with 21k DPS/26k rDPS/26k aDPS
You take a 5 second google search to see that Diamond Weapon EX's SSS dummy needs 17k DPS from a MNK to clear it.
Comparing DPS alone that's a 4k Difference between a top geared player and someone who can clear the SSS.

SSS does not allow you to have raid buffs, mechanics that cause you to distrupt your DPS, ect ect. But you can completely get an idea that if you beat the SSS Dummy for DWEX you have good enough DPS to clear the actual content. Especially if your actual DPS will be higher thanks to raid buffs ect.

It tells you one key fact of information: Is your DPS good enough? And that has been my point this entire time. You do not see value in it but it's there even if it's not as comprehensive as a Parser. For those who do not want to break ToS or play on console, it does it's job.

Anything past that is superficial number guaging and personal min maxing.

Edit: I'm through with this topic if you are just going to continue to repeat the same "It's not as good as Parsing" retorts over and over. We both have better uses for our post limits than debating over effectively nothing.
