I would say it depends on the poster's requirements.

If they just wanted the stuff from the ceremony, probably lots.
If they just wanted an in game partner/friend do do stuff with, probably a good fair amount.
If they were a real woman, for anything most likely 100% chance of finding someone.

If they were looking for a real life relationship it also depends.
If they were a woman - yes
If they were a man - most likely little chance, but still within the realm of possibility with a LOT of luck.
If they were other - maybe, you never know.

Goals for the game: level up most of my classes. find a great friends to hang out with. Enjoy the story line as far as it will take me. and to learn the mechanics that i am not familiar with. If I do this I may start doing raids for fun with friends but not as anything ore serious than that. Maybe you can help.

Goals for the marriage union: I am in no rush to marry. Looking for friends we can chat together in OOC and in game. hang out and do things together flirt, laughing and smiling and being there when times are not so cheerful. If it blossoms into more that is wonderful. If you have nothing to do in game, please don't use me as your quest or adventure to keep you from boredom or entertainment. LOL There is plenty to do in the game for things like that.

I honestly never realized how much the gender of a person’s avatar impacted these relationships. I suppose that personally I’ve always placed more value in finding someone with whom I can hold a conversation and enjoy the content of FFXIV with and never gave character gender too much consideration. Although, I guess people can’t exactly help what they do or do not like, even if that applies to the gender of a person’s in-game avatar.

Either way, I wish those of you in this thread the very best of luck finding someone that you’re compatible with. Having a good friend to experience the game with does seem like it would make the game even more enjoyable.
