First, that fan art is by far my favorite, and the final result seems very similar, just way less muscular.

Now... what you're asking for with this height is impossible, you have been told by several people that the race height is most likely decided, and a big part of the armor has already been adjusted, you have been told so even by a designer that worked for Disney, and me a professional software developer.

They most likely have a margin to work with, and they may be able to get between 2-3 cm up and down(and that doesn't mean the can go 4-6 up, and forget the down, that's not how it works), but this is only in case they actually have a margin, knowing SE they could very well be working on the limit.

And on a side note, more bulkiness and this height difference with the escalation It would need, would be a disrespect to the lore, personally I think that their current looks and a max height that is the same as the females is perfect for a race where males and females are identical until they are close to adulthood.

I'm all for giving more customization, but this is impossible and wouldn't even look good.

The female Roegadyn Slider covers both the short and the tall side of the male height chart.
As for the phd regarding FFXIV's 3D art, I've worked pretty extensively with 3D tools, as well having a pretty good understanding of XIV's engine from what I've seen in the modding community. Max and min height numbers do not affect gear as long as the height numbers aren't higher than what you see with female Roegadyn. XIV's engine scales the height you select to the mount automatically. There's none of this extra work you seem to be referring to, disney art is not the same as a game engine, 2 very different worlds altogether.

Moreover, where are you getting these sources that they finalized Male Viera features like scars, height max/min, tattoos, and the like? Theorizing doesn't make it a source. There's no indication anywhere (until a benchmark comes out) that they decided on Male Viera's features such as the height slider.
