Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

The whole "them not ever leaving the jungle" thing looks to be an obviously filler in-world explanation on why we actually didn't have them playable. They can really write anything, even copy and paste female lore reasoning to males. Zenos/Fandaniel destroying the world wouldn't really work either, as a male viera WoL would start prior to those events, during ARR. Would work for NPC male viera in-world though.

For male Viera PC, it most likely would be similar with other races' PC. They decided to leave their community/country/settlement to become adventurer and explore the world.
I don't think it'd get much detail than that.

For NPC they could simply tie in the lore with recent events or make it similar to the female ones that some male Viera did leave the forest to live in cities or other settlements with other races.

I was an Au Ra pretty much right up till ShB and it still makes me laugh when I used to rewatch that. "T H E F E A R" Au Ra me: *stares blankly, walks over to the window, looks out of it, sees the many Au Ra adventures and citizens walking the streets. Closes the window, returns. Nods.*

A wild thought:

What if Viera male models get added next week with the patch to be used as NPCs?

In a small part of a video on Zadnor, you can see Fran running in a corner... It also makes sense for her to come back as one of the main NPCs. Maybe she brought more friends? Would be a nice sneak-peek to what's yet to come.

Also considering the fact that Fran herself got added in the last patch of Stormblood.
