Naw, November is fall. I will admit that I was not expecting November for the announcement, but that had nothing to do with my understanding of what fall means and more not considering they might stall for 8 months between 5.5 and release.

Still think it's absolutely nuts how long this drought will be. It's like.. One quarter of the entire shadowbringers expansion cycle, they're just throwing it in the trash.
Couldn't care less when Fall is or if I was "misled" or not, if there's one thing I hate it's game companies pushing out an unfinished product to meet unrealistic deadlines. They can take all the time they want. I wouldn't care if it got pushed to 2022 if it means a polished expansion.

It's fall in Spain as well. If it's the same in Japan, then it's not misleading at all.

It sucks but sometimes that's just where the chips fall. I'd rather the drought be on the longer side of things than have the expansion itself be rushed out the door.
Then again I used to play WoW it had some end of expansion content droughts that were way more than six months lol.

I think what sucks the worst about that date is that it is literally two days before Thanksgiving.
My family isn't going to see me much that week ><
Seriously. Siege of Orgrimmar and Hellfire Citadel both lasted 14 freaking months. It sucks but sometimes that's just where the chips fall. I'd rather the drought be on the longer side of things than have the expansion itself be rushed out the door.

I can wait 6.

It wasn't misleading. And they may not have had the release date ironed out for certain during the initial announcement. When things are still in development you don't want to call your release date too early. While you can always delay, it's better to hold off a bit and be confident and not have to announce a delay publicly.

No, it's fall... in America. Here is my feedback to Square Enix after Support Desk directed me to the forums. Endwalker is a whole 6 months after the last story patch of Shadowbringers. By saying "Fall 2021" you are misleading people into thinking it's only going to be 3 or 4 months from 5.55. November 24 is not fall, it's winter. I know you don't want people to unsub but truth and honesty is important for a video game company. If you can't make the expansion fast enough then just tell the truth so players can unsub until the new expansion comes out. But if you lie then they will not come back. It's also not funny to joke about how November 24 is "technically" during fall because it's not in America. It's already snowing in November. So my suggestion for Square Enix is to not mislead people next time.

I'm imagining some poor underpaid CS reps discussing this inane complaint, like, "is their problem that they don't know when seasons are? Just direct them to post on the forums where the other players can make fun of them instead."
Everyone is disappointed it's as late as it is this time, but that doesn't make November not Fall.

SE gives a very specific date at the tail end of Fall, and you claim that they are misleading people.
