This is a really nice comparison using min height viera. They got the angle perfect and it does seem their models are comparable aside from the ears. The trailers posted above I still think the women look taller but it could be a matter of slider and having their whole legs exposed, while the men have the armor and wrap, obscuring part of the legs.

Tbh the FOV/angle could skew it one way or the other so I wouldn't take it for granted, however if this was accurate that would mean that assumed default height is slightly taller than min female, which could probably give leeway to have them both noticably shorter than say a max height fem char or be taller than some of the mid ones perhaps at max height.

Bet is that min height is quite shortermax height is 80-90% of the females

Another possible clue would be how the lightshafts hit your character in the Cloud Nine walking forward from right next to where the blankets are, since those are static.

I would prefer they are the same size or slighty taller personally. I don't particularly care for shorter men but that's me and sure doesn't apply to everyone.

Just a side note, but side by side I think their racial gear looks like what most ppl here were asking for which is nice, follows the viera asthetic but its more survivalistic and overall really high quality

Im sorry but posts like this one are really ironic now, Im really glad that the dev team found a way to add them and I wonder if it was a similar situation tot he few hats fviera and mhrot got, like they did a part of it in secret and they ended up being greenlit, wonder if we'll ever get an awnser as to how they've been able to make them happen for 6.0, even after everyone (myself included) had either given up hopes on them coming in 6.0 or maybe even at all, or had their expectations incredibly tempered
