It's still not the 1 to 1 match and I would say it's not 100% confirming but... if that's the case, I personally would be pretty happy, because having only one non-Lalafell shorter-than-average option in the face of Miqo'te was sort of sad.

Having more wide height scale might help to please wider auditory, though I'm not sure how likely it is to happen, given that so far the only option that has a height range bigger than 14cm is Roegadyns women.

We likely won't know the actual height difference until we get the benchmark and can play with them in the character creator.

Well i play miqo‘te males like 95% of the time and i just felt a really tall handsome race was needed. male viera seem to have the perfect blend between au ra and elezen body wise.
the current most popular male races are around low to mid height compared to all the other races (male miqo and male hyur) - it would have been nice to see a tall race rival these two races.

Agreed. I don't see any reason why they couldn't adopt the suggestion of a bigger height range, that has been made multiple times in this thread, which I am sure they have been paying attention to along with feedback from other sources, but if they're not capable of being as tall or taller than the females, I may just stick to my existing race. However, what we have at the moment is images that aren't on the same scale, no knowledge of what the height setting for the chars displayed is etc., so it's all up in the air.

I think the males look almost more delicate and smaller than the females (they also have some pretty damn stunning faces. I am wondering if the males are considered less warriors than the females.
