French pronoun kinda confirms that it is not a plural term.

I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.

Well then, could it be clever play wherein it's, "Fandaniel and his brother." in French, but then, "Fandaniel and his sister." in German? With the languages assuming the gender of the WoL, which could be either, as a Golbez reference?

That, but also I just remembered that the French one could also just be starting with a vocal, because in that case it would also use the male version for a female term (sorry, former French teacher).

It's fun speculating, but I guess we shouldn't forget that those pronouns might be placeholders - the translators would need to know what word is missing.

I took two semesters of French like 17 years ago. I vaguely remember some of it, lol. Not nearly enough.

    I could speculate all day.

Put FFIV-reference A into Endwalkers news slot B.

    Edit:
Also you changed your hair after the longest time!

Fandaniel and his wife, perhaps? Maybe he had one before he was uplifted, or he's remembering his wife from before the Sundering. Or maybe a single sister. Or a family member.
