Can someone give me a summarized version of what happened that is only a few paragraphs long?

From the brief skimming I did, looks like a dude getting super emotionally abusive and threatening OP with violence for who knows what reason. I don't try to self diagnose people who clearly have issues.
-----------------------------------------------------
All I'm gonna say is this:
If you are getting sent threats/being stalked over the internet (especially over state lines in the US) it is a federal crime and the person can go to jail for up to 5 years. Just saying that exists and you should probably consider it as an option to take.
Also, as someone who was in a super bad physically & emotionally abusive relationship for around a year (I have my reasons, judge all you want), you can move forward from it and find better people when you're ready. You will most likely run into more scumbags because, like you said, this is the internet and they exist no matter what. That doesn't mean you should give up on the good people that do exist too. It just might take a bit of time to find them. I only recently found the group I want to stay with till I leave the game because they actually treat me like a human being and not just a character in a game who doesn't have feelings. People who care about you will act like that.
So, in a nutshell, if this dude is that much of a scumbag, report him to the police since he should be punished for his shit. Also, don't give up on everyone because good people do exist in FF.
The ravings of a madman. The girl needs to urgently consult with a psychologist and stop playing games.
This was a interesting read and does bring up some questions to mind but this doesn't really sound like it's just a FF14 issue but more of an issue with internet culture in general.
pretty much all online services don't have any rules against manipulation tactics because it'll be the digital equivalent of opening pandora's box an while most might not know this: humans are very easy to manipulate and you can see it happening basically everywhere in both online and offline mediums. when the tactics devolves into harassment or into harming you (like your case was OP) that's usually when you can report such actions but that's about it. There's no real sure fire way to avoid or prevent being manipulated but you can keep an eye out for it and bring awareness of it, which your posts do pretty well.
I hope things get better for you and your eyesight improves. I would send give you a hug ingame but i'm not on your datacenter. so the best I can give you is this (Ɔ ˘⌣˘)˘⌣˘ C)
You could block them from game/discord I mean .. you have fully control when it comes to know/talk or meet people in online games.
Good creative writing.
In case this is real. Go to therapy and talk to some people. The level of paranoia is worrying.
No it has nothing to do with that. Look, I understand people finding themselves upset and feeling manipulated but it is a hard pill to swallow that there's an organised group of people consistantly gaslighting and actively hunting someone down for weeks on end. And, if you are online, and in a bad situation, you can block people. If you are cognitive enough you can stop things. Block and move on. I've met many manipulative people online. You move on, you let yourself come to terms with that some people are shitty and drop it.
If it was one person doing this it might've been believeable,b ut a whole cabal of people actively engaging, let alone organising this vague cultlike speech in a fricking game? It's a bit of a stretch.
And one that's easy to avoid. Block. And if it did end up hurting you this bad. Go to therapy and recover.
Why is going to therapy a bad suggestion when someone is stressed and hurt?
