If you look around, there is ALOT of never used houses.. nor decorated or anything, as it go today, it is much about having a trophy rather than something you are actually am going to use..

I agree and those people should start using their houses or let them go, but at the same time I don't think end of the day neither you, me or SE can decide what i should do with my house.

Your own list. Point 1 and 2 specifically.

1. Remove Grandfathering, that exist on most servers if not all, some people got more than one house on their single account.

These people never broke any rules. Why take away the houses if people got a house extra when it will not fix anything in the end of the day.

2. Add upkeep as in paying rent or tax for the plot, don't make it cheap.

So, not only did I need to pay 5/20/50m or how much small/medium/large goes for nowadays, now I need to pay a rent, aside of paying a sub fee for the game?

Or people may not be able to decorate their house right away. I’m pretty sure that in the unlikely scenario I purchase a house, it will stand empty until I save up enough to even be able to furnish it and decorate it. Just because that part is super expensive as well.

You are entitled to your opinions but your arguments aren’t very convincing to me. You seem to be neglecting the fact players should be able to play at their own pace without having to grind away to always have enough money at the end of the month to pay ‘rent’. I for sure do not play often enough anymore to consistently make enough gil. I also wouldn’t want the game to have such obligations just for me to keep the items I collected or already purchased.

Now you might argue that housing is a luxury item that not everyone should own, but well, I’ll disagree on that too.
