I'm impressed by the amount of new stuff we get in XIV all the time and that's why I don't mind the sub fee. I can't even imagine that there was even more content in the past! How was it more/different in HW and SB? What kind of content is missing in ShB (besides ultimates)?
So far we've Lost, deepdungeons, a whole form of sidestory content know as Hildabrand, We used to get multiple dungeons a patch, multiple PvP updates, new gear, 2 forms of endgame content known as Ultimates, Cut content from the Firmament that allowed People to contribute to it without having to be on gathers/crafters. It may mot seem like much but it feels a lot more empty without it honestly.

I'll reply to this one. Obviously Covid happend and development suffered; is what it is.

Though a lot of this xpac didn't interest me for one reason or another some feature I enjoyed The Firmament. I always felt like DoH/DoL needed some kind of "end game" content and this along with relic tools fit the bill. As far a deep dungeons, I'm really not sure how popular Heaven on High was and this might have influenced them to not include another in 5.XX. PvP falls into this catergory too. Only one Ultimate but 3 Unreals, not sure if that's a trade off but there it is. ARR had too many dungeons and Shadow had to few, need a middle ground and I personal dislike the expert and Lv. 80 catergory. Just have one so we can have more variety in the DF.

Personally I don't think 5.XX lacked content giving this issues involved, it just lacked content that interested me. I would say I liked Firmament, Ocean fishing (though would like it closer to what FFXI had), and ARR flying.

I encourage everyone to let the team know what exactly they hate or missed in 5.XX and what they liked and what they would liked to see going forward.

I think they're stretching just a bit. As far as the amount of content goes I think Shadowbringers has done pretty well. The biggest issue in my opinion is their focus on "fluff" content like Gpose and Perform, among other things. They have also made some questionable design choices that even a player with half a brain cell could have seen the future ramifications of (Castrum Lacus Litore anyone?). Shadowbringers has been a solid expansion, but has been hamstringed by their own design in some ways. They seemed to have put more of their resources in the story as well, which took away from other things.
