Ninja just has the hardest gap closer to use, but I would argue that it has more flexibility. You can use the skill to greed up time if you're good at using it... or you can use it to close the gap. Though as someone who plays with a controller, I wouldn't mind if Shukuchi were adjusted to work the same as En Avant.

The dream would be getting Smart Cast and Range Lock implemented for ground targeted abilities. Smart Cast makes it so you don't have to click on the ground to place the ability and instead you hold the key to pull up the ground targeting indicator and then release the key to execute the ability. Range Lock prevents your cursor from going beyond the maximum distance of the ability. Combine the two together and now you can easily get max range Shukuchis without having to click the ground. Guild Wars 2 has both of those in place for ground targeted abilities and it's fantastic.

Especially useful for Guardian since it has a crap ton of placed AoEs and puddles for damage and healing. Though that reminds me, it would be cool to see something like Guardian's heal dive on a job like WHM. A healing Shukuchi if you will, in FFXIV terms.

Basically Lost Seraph Strike from Bozja, except it does a burst Heal rather than reducing enemy Accuracy. Would be cool to see.
