Are you talking about in real life? If then what does that has to do with this game? If you mean people are "homeless" in this game, then do something about it? I got a house on my alt yesterday after camped 3 different plots.

If you don't have past experience with a person, you're not going to pick up on their text sarcasm. Some people are 100% serious about the things they say that others assume to be a joke.

I know how online interactions work. For me it was easy to pick up as sarcasm even without previous interactions solely due to context and a familiarity with social media.

But that is also why I suggested the /s tag on the end. It wasn't a dig on anyone, but there is no reason to derail a conversation, again, due to someone not being able to pick up on it.

I'd be fine with changes so long as they allowed me to pay to change an FC plot into a personal one. My house is an old FC plot that was given to me by friends who stopped playing the game back in HW but that was established in ARR. For most of SB I was sitting on the plot, waiting for them to come back, and it wasn't until ShB nearly dropped that they definitively told me I could have it. Which missed the cut off for easily selling a plot and then quickly rebuying it as a personal. I'd more than happily pay the purchase price or more to switch.

That might actually be a decent way out of this mess, as it would allow those in the shell FCs a way to unload their assets in a way that doesn't completely screw them over - provided that it's a limited time window thing, and not a permanent feature to the housing system otherwise that will resurrect some long dead problems.
