RP Party finders being reported AGAIN without so much as a reason.

They cleared that one up. It's acceptable usage of the Party Finder. Fellowship can be okay for making communities and recruiting people, it's terrible for events. PF is the best tool for events in game. Heck the GM the OP showed says it's fine, but made reference to keeping it age appropriate and that seems to be what where the issue is.

The problem here seems to be more to do with 18+ advertisements. That said, they've never made it explicitly clear, just something we've used the power of deduction to kind of work out. But if the usage of "Dalliance" really is innocent and it wasn't advertising 18+ RP, then it does raise other concerns

If people still get reported for it, then it is because it contain letters/art or whatever that hints towards above 18 activity, and I am fine with that people get booted for that, because it does NOT belong for the masses to see, whatever people do in private, they can do in private... and that is what there is to say about that, however the encounter in private can be reported though as well.

Also, wearing the RP tag ingame... also is the sign for it by the community, that his is the naughty thing, so using it in of or just RP... could technially be enough to get reported as well.

Also if you are a roleplayer, then it make no sense, if you use any shorthand at all in an advert or the likes, it would make little to no sense at all.

Well I was more referring to how so many agreed with the below quote that summed up the entire situation as "well you used the word 'dalliance' so that's why you got in trouble" even though that word can be used outside the context they stated. And again I point out that "Daring Dalliances" is the name of a music track in this game that is used an incredible amount in the MSQ during scenes that have no sex or romance at all. It is my hope that the GM chose to discipline that player due to more than merely using a word that only could be, and not guaranteed to be, directly related to 18+ content.

And no adding "oh my!" doesn't automatically mean 18+. Casual flirting is not automatically 18+. Unless anyone happens to think "My lady, your outfit is enchanting. Were my wife here my staring would enrage her!" is adult content.

Welp, guess we know the issue here. This venue rolled the dice just by hosting, let alone posting in the PF. No one should be surprised that action was taken at this point. Good on the GM for doing their job.

There's a reason I put on the /busy tag whenever I go to the Quicksand on my Balmung alts - I get unsolicited tells otherwise. If that's what happens when someone enters one of the RP venues being advertised, then yeah, that's not cool.

You know, I've got alts on Balmung who hang around the Quicksands (since the Inn room is right there), and I have never received an unsolicited tell over the 6+ years I've been playing. How truly unlucky you must be.

It's perfectly possible for people to lie about their age online, so simply stating an age limit isn't really enough to cover the legal bases. The simple solution is to...not advertise or partake of anything that can be seen as sleazy or inappropriate. Maybe these player led establishments can rebrand themselves as something more innocent, such as a regular cafe or restaurant.

You have "18+" listed and "Drinks, dancers and dalliances, oh my!" Dalliances being a casual romantic or sexual relationship. Being that the listing is 18+ this obviously means there will be sexual things(possibly) considering "Drinks and dancers" as well. What part of not posting anything 18+ in an 13+ game do you not understand? It seems some RP'ers think they deserve special treatment and don't have to listen to any rule and then play the victim when caught and run to the forums to only have similar RP'ers empathize with them while everybody else is like "No".

Look I'm all for SFW RP being advertised in Party Finder but at this point anyone who tries to do the same with 18+ events is just asking to be sent to GM Jail. While the GM's haven't been clear at all in these matters the current pattern seems to be that any 18+ venue that's being posted on Party Finder is a warnable offense. Or, at the very least, something that's probably going to end up with you being sent to GM Jail until the matter is sorted. If you're going to have those kinds of events in game, and keep in mind I'm not advocating either way on that kettle of fish, then advertise them off-game. At this point you're just asking to get reported.
