    I do not run the more advanced dungeons, beyond the once to clear and occasional runs with trusts for gear if needed. I just run normal roulette for xp which never does the “cap” series of dungeons (50/60/70 currently), as my target is (was) maxing all jobs and just doing the story.

    So, I am satisfied with 1 dungeon per major patch with other stuff here and there. I would like to see more level independent content available along the lines of mahjong.. stuff I can do with friends that doesn’t require anything beyond them wanting to do it.

    A halfway option I like is stuff similar to treasure hunts. Yeah it’s combat, but it’s pretty easy and fun to do with friends.

    To;dr, I want stuff I can say “hey guys wanna do xxx?” on a Saturday night to a group of 5-7 people, without them needing to check iLvl or whether they have that content unlocked.


    Example, I would turn Eureka into a blu magic farm area. Every possible blu skill exists in Eureka maybe for 1-70. No need for dungeons. Make the %capture lower if you need to make it grindy, but I would do absolutely anything to NOT have to do blu in a group. Alternatively, make NMs pop in diadem that give blu magic.

    You can learn 102/104 spells from BLU solo right now. The only exception being Peripheral Synthesis and Mustard Bomb from Omega's Alphascape 3.0 due to the damage down debuffs during the Level Checker.

    As far as the topic goes, I'd like 2 or 3 new dungeons per patch, like we used to get back in ARR. I'd also like for them to go hard on the playerbase with them, and change the public perception about dungeon difficulty. I know they won't, but that's what I'd like.

    I'd like Expert to feature 3 or more dungeons too. I still like using expert roulette to get tomes, even though getting tomes is really easy from everything now, especially now that I have every job at maximum level.

    I'd love to see a new dungeon take the title of most hated dungeon that Pharos Sirius once had. I'd love to hear the playerbase cry that the dungeon is too hard and needs to be nerfed. I know it's unrealistic to expect them to deliver that. I've suggest a new roulette before, Brutal Roulette for Brutal Dungeons. Give us dungeons with teeth.

    I've really enjoyed Castrum Lacus Litore and Delubnum Reginae. I have not really enjoyed the Shadowbringers dungeons beyond the ones we had at launch(so the leveling ones and the first level 80 ones). But by knowing what old dungeons were like, and by seeing that they can make fun large scale dungeons for 20ish+ people, I know they could make 4 man dungeons that are fun with differing objectives and split paths and fun bosses.

    While this is true, it is mind meltingly boring to do Titan or the dungeon with Siren the 20 or so times to hope I get it RNG’d to me. It’s not a fun use of time. Of course, imho.

    Yeah, some of the ones that you need to unsync for to bypass mechanics can be kinda boring, but you still can. You don't need to unsync any of the dungeons though which gets you the spells 1/1. You might want some certain spells first for an easier time. All of the level 50 dungeons are doable with spells level 50 and lower thanks to them adding those Coeurls and other monsters into the overworld for BLU learning. You can go get Basic Instinct on the Coeurls in Upper La Noscea, and then the world, and its dungeons, are pretty much your soloing oyster.

    I think the hardest one for me at 50 sync was Wanderer's Palace, because while I outgeared everything, dealing with Everyone's Rancor with just White Wind was kinda insane.

    I’ll give some of it a try; I was under the impression you needed a party/go through the bluemage book thing to get 100%. If I can go solo but sync’d and get it 100%, that might work.

    I don’t mind running anything once, it’s just when it turns into Monster Hunter levels of RNG that kills it for me.
